Six ACRC rowers joined the Loch Melfort muster at the Isle of Seil this year on 18th – 19th May 2019. It’s Seil CRC’s annual litter pick to Eileen Gamnha. We experienced wonderful sunshine on Friday, typically soft Argyll weather on Saturday, followed by a trip to Puilladobhrain and Goat Island on Sunday in partial sun, with the added excitement of a) getting under The Bridge over the Atlantic against a strong spring tide and b) playing African Queen (no leeches, luckily) down Seil Sound. A total of 25 km rowed (excluding the wading and pulling the skiffs though the seaweed). Great hospitality from the Seil members with lots of chat, wine, vegan food and friendships made! What a cracking weekend! We’ll be back!!!!
