EVENTS ON SUNDAY
On Sunday we held 2 events outside the main regatta. Firstly we offered the chance to take part in the Hamilton Rock Challenge which is a handicapped row from just off the pier round Hamilton Rock and back a distance of about 6.2 km. Handicaps was based on Saturday’s results. Medals were awarded and there was a trophy to be won. At the same time we wanted to offer a Mixed Ultra Relay using both Arran skiffs and coxes with interclub crews but as some clubs had to leave early due to the ferry we just had a couple of relaxed, social outings.
